Frequently Asked Questions

It’s raining! It’s snowing! Is the movie still showing?

The show must go on! Movies are shown, rain or shine! If the weather looks iffy, we recommend rain wear. Temperatures often dip after the sun goes down.

What’s the best way to enjoy the movie?

Drive-ins make for excellent family movie nights or date nights! We recommend pillows, blankets, and comfy clothes! If you have a van, SUV, or truck (weather permitting), folks like backing in and creating a makeshift bed in the open back of the vehicle. You are also welcome to bring lawn chairs and utilize the space directly in front of your vehicle. Remember, the weather in Washington changes quickly and frequently, so please plan accordingly. If you get cold, Skyline hoodies, sweat pants, blankets, and other convenience items are available for purchase in the Snack Bar.

I’m hungryyyyyyyy!

Our Snack Bar menu is sure to please any rumbling tummies! For hot food orders, we provide pagers to let you know when your order is ready for pickup. We do not allow outside food or drinks. Please help keep our doors open by supporting our Snack Bar. NOTE: On slower evenings (most weekdays during the summer), the snack bar may close before the intermission between movies.

Spots, spots, and more spots! How do I know where to park?

From tall to small, there is one lot for all! Our lot attendants will help guide you to the appropriate spot based on your vehicle. Please remember that parking is first come, first serve, and spaces cannot be saved. Rows are designated based on the height of your vehicle. Each row has color-coded poles to aid with parking.

Cars (64” and lower) White (Rows 1 & 2)
Mid-Sized Vehicles (64” to 71”) Red (Rows 3-6)
Large Vehicles (71” and higher) Yellow (Rows 7-10)
Motorhomes Row 10

Please help keep everyone safe by limiting your speed to 5mph in the lot. This is a family-friendly environment, and kids of all ages may be running around.

Please be respectful of our lot attendants and understand they are trying to help everyone have a great experience. Drive-ins are not the average theatre and require more coordination to accommodate vehicles. If you need assistance and can’t find someone, stop by the Snack Bar, and we will be happy to help.

How do I hear the movie? Loud and clear on 89.1FM!

We broadcast the sound on 89.1 FM. This is a helpful reminder to be mindful of your car battery. If necessary, start your car between films or during breaks to allow it to recharge. Jump starts are available for those who forget; it happens to the best of us.

If you would prefer, we also have battery-powered radios available for rent in the Snack Bar. Please bring $5 and your driver’s license to check one out; your license will be returned when you return the radio. NOTE: if you are returning a radio after the snack bar has closed, come to the back door of the concessions building.

I’m late, I’m late, for a very important movie date!

Gate times change with the season, and movies begin at dusk. All movies will run until completion. When arriving late or leaving after the first movie (yes, some people do that), please keep your headlights off or switch to your fog lights. Having your headlights on at the drive-in is the same as being on your phone at the movie theatre—it's a big no-no. Let’s all enjoy the show!

I have an event coming up. Can you accommodate large parties?

Drive-ins are great for special events such as corporate outings, birthday parties, reunions and more! To setup your event visit our Plan an Event Section!

Can my Pup tag along?

Yes! Pets can make great movie companions! However, for everyone’s enjoyment, please follow the rules outlined below:

  • Leashes are required at all times. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.

  • A grassy area is at the back of the lot; please remember to clean up after your pet.

  • Per Washington State law, animals are not permitted in the Snack Bar unless they are trained and identified service dogs.

  • Please be mindful of your pet's behavior; parties with noisy or aggressive pets may be asked to leave.

Guests who don’t follow these rules may be asked to leave at the discretion of Skyline Employees. Thank you!

Illegal substances are prohibited at all times.

Firearms and other illegal substances, including alcohol and marijuana, are strictly prohibited on-site at the Skyline Drive-In. The Drive-In is private property; violators will be asked to leave or barred entry.
